

Brigette “Coralia” Costa, 82, of Orlando, passed away on November 7, 2013. She was born to the late Norberto “Calixto” and Celina Oria on February 1st, 1931, in Matanzas, Cuba. Coralia married Joseph “Pepe” Costa, in 1963, and they lived in Bronx, NY, until they relocated to Orlando, FL in 1973. Coralia’s love for children inspired her to spread that love and she helped care for many children in her neighborhood as their babysitter. Her children, as well as many of the children she cared for, grew to be successful adults. She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Coralia loved to spend time with her family and friends, and took numerous cruises and trips in her lifetime. Coralia is survived by her husband and three children, Joseph Costa, Robert Costa, and Marlene Candelaria, all of Orlando. She is also survived by six grandchildren. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to “Give Kids the World” in her memory. Public viewing will be held at 10 A.M. on Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, located at 2811 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, FL. Service will be held at 11 A.M., followed by the burial at Chapel Hill Cemetery located at 2400 Harrell Road Orlando, FL
