Bruce Robert Stoudt passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. He recently celebrated his 73rd birthday. The family is deeply saddened by his sudden death. Bruce was born on October 24, 1952, at Orange Memorial Hospital in Orlando. Bruce was the first born of five sons to Kenneth J & Ethel A Stoudt.
Bruce was a lifelong resident of Orlando. He attended Colonial High School and became a mechanic and a longtime truck driver for AutoNation Parts Center.
Bruce was a man that lived simply, loved wholeheartedly, and found joy in the little things – especially a good meal at Waffle House. Bruce had a quiet strength about him; he didn’t need the spotlight to make an impact. He showed his love by showing up and loving his family. Though we grieve at his passing, we hold on to the memories, stories, and the comfort of knowing his life touched ours in ways we won’t soon forget.
Bruce is survived by his brothers, Ronald Stoudt, David (Tammy) Stoudt, Thomas (Kimberly) Stoudt; his nieces & nephews Christy (James) Carlyle, DJ (Amnie) Stoudt, Nicholas (Megan) Stoudt, Patrick (Charity) Stoudt and a host of cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth J Stoudt and Ethel A Stoudt; his brother Timothy M Stoudt; and his nephew Ronald Stoudt II.
There will be no public service. To honor Bruce, grab a cup of coffee or sit down for a waffle and scrambled eggs at Waffle House.
