She was born in Manhattan, New York on April 8, 1948 to the late Angelo & Gloria (Anzizi) Zanfardino.
Camille met her beloved Dennis when he was in the Navy, and she worked as a beautician in New York.
After a long distance courtship, they married and had two beautiful sons. Camille was always devoted and involved, from attending their countless baseball and hockey events, to becoming a den mother! She loved to cook for her family, and they loved to have her do it--especially her famous Stuffed Artichokes and signature saucy Giant Meatballs! Camille was delighted to watch her family grow, and doted upon her grandsons as well. Not to mention the family pets...
Camille was able to go back to school and earned a degree in Teaching special education, later developing into a career in school publishing.
In her free time, Camille was a gifted quilter and gardener. Of course, she would never miss her beloved NY Yankees, especially Derek Jeter.
And, she was finally able to go visit beautiful Italy with her adoring husband, a lifelong dream.
Camille was loved by so many & will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her dear parents; by her parents-in-law, Francis & Dorothy Burdge and her sister-in-law, Diane Romero.
Camille is survived by her husband, Dennis W. Burdge; sons, Dennis (Rose) and Michael (Danielle); sister, Annette (Jeff); brother, Gerald (Linda); brothers-in-law, Tommy (Patty) and Juan Romero; grandsons, Angelo and Michael; and, many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
