Catherine J. Miller

Catherine was born on January 10,1926 in Oswego, NY (avg snowfall of 120in/year) For her milestone 100th celebration on 1/10/26, she was surround by family and friends and enjoyed her cupcake and a poetic review of her life. Daughter of Edward and Theresa Maxon, she outlived three dear siblings. Her legacy of Faith and Friendship is now passed to her children Jim - Orlando, FL, Gale - NH/Bradenton, FL, Mark and wife Cindy - Mexico (all who rotated calendars to be with her for the past four years), six grandchildren, Mai, Cait and Kelsey Miller, Cristine Muller, Sarah Launderville and Patrick Wendell and five great grandchildren, Molly and Olivia Eskeland and Milly, Ren and Evan Lanuderville.

Remembered primarily as a supportive wife to James Henry - they wed in 9/50 and lived in NY/RI/ VA/Puerto Rico, NH and FL and later to Joseph Lemelin for fifteen years and a devoted mom, she did much more than laundry and pack lunches - she loved to recall her times as a telephone operator, serving Dad Cherry Cokes at the drug store food counter, strawberry picker, CCD teacher, active with Council of Catholic Women of Blessed Trinity, school cafeteria server, cake decorator, and even a fashion model (we just discovered.) A lifelong winner of Scrabble games, loved Hallmark movies and known for saying 'better get your ducks in a row" and "the door is always open," and for her happy wink and thumbs up expression.

Our Mom was meticulous and always meant well, religious and relaxed, patient, pleasant, proud, as well as slow, if ever, to anger - and always welcoming.

Services will be held Friday June 26, from 6-7:30 at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 1413 S. Semoran, Orlando, Fl and then she will be laid to rest in New Hampshire along with our Dad who passed in 1999.
