

at his home with his family. Charlie was a member of St. Stephens Presbyterian Church and Cruso United Methodist Church in North Carolina. His passion was spending time with his lovely bride of 54 years, his family and his hundreds of friends in Florida, North Carolina and Alabama. He was an avid Alabama football fan, loved golf and his two churches. Charlie was a long-time member of Rio Pinar Country Club in Orlando and Springdale Country Club in Waynesville, North Carolina. He was a retired executive in the road construction business. Charlie lived everyday to the fullest and liked to be the first one to a party and the last to leave. He mastered the few most important aspects of life; he loved his wife and family, set a great example through honest hard work, loved to laugh at a good joke and loved his Lord and Savior. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 11:00 am at St. Stephen Presbyterian Church at 8601 Lake Underhill Road. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Charlie is survived by his wife, Ann; two children, Cindy Carns Kuykendall (Jack), Winter Park, Florida and Chuck (Debi); grandchildren, Laura, Michael, Amanda and Christa; brother, Jim Carns (Judy), Birmingham, AL.
