Charlie was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, and attended Emerson High School in Union City, New Jersey. He served in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1967, when he was honorably discharged. He was employed by Great Bear Spring Water Company for thirty-five years. Upon his retirement, he moved to Kissimmee, Florida where he resided for the past thirty-two years.
Charlie was known for his love of family, his love of golf, and his gift for talking to anyone, anywhere.
He is survived by his children; Michael and his wife, Lisa, and Steven; his grandson, Michael; his brothers Robert and James. Charlie was predeceased by his wife of fifty-seven years, Marie L. (Zanelli), his sister, Margaret “Meta” Nassan, his father, Charles and his mother, Mae (Gallagher).
A memorial service will take place in New Jersey at a time to be determined.
