

Charles Victor West, 69, passed away on December 4th, 2016. Charles was born on October 21st, 1947 in Miami FL. to Irving and Yvonne West. He was survived by his wife Sheryl, his daughter Tara (husband Steve) and his two granddaughters. Charles spent his life pursuing many interest. He started his life in the military as an airplane mechanic with the Air Force. His time in the military is where he met his wife Sheryl while stationed in Chanute, AFB, IL. They married and were stationed in Orlando at McCoy AFB where they raised their family. After the military Charles then moved onto selling cars. After selling cars for a few years, Charles then moved to what he loved best, fishing. He bought a fishing boat and started his own commercial fishing business selling the fish he caught through his fish store. Charles could never just do one thing. He also started his rental house business. He loved the hunt for houses and chase a good deal. That led into his side business of buying, restoring and selling guitars. Charles was always the happiest on or near the water. He loved to fish whether it was on the beach or the charter boat out of Tarpon Springs, fishing for tuna out of San Diego, or on his own fishing boat. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to Reformation Lutheran Church or the American Heart Association of Greater Orlando. Services will be held on Friday, December 9th at 4:00 pm at Reformation Lutheran Church, 800 E. Michigan St., Orlando, FL 32806
