David Randall Wheeler, 40, of Orlando, Florida, passed away August 16, 2025. David was born in Orlando, Florida on December 22, 1984. David graduated from Colonial High School and attained the degree of Master of Business Administration from the University of Central Florida.
David had a long career in Public Procurement employed by Orange County Public Schools. Additionally, David served many years in the U.S. Army Reserve, which included three Middle East deployments. His hobbies include various sports, golf, fantasy football and doting upon his young nieces.
David is survived by father, Randy Wheeler; mother, Dena Wheeler; sister, Caitlin McCabe; brother-in-law, Kristopher McCabe; and three nieces, Hazel, Violet and Willow.
A remembrance to honor David’s life will take place on August 24th, at 2pm at the Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 1413 S. Semoran Blvd., Orlando.
Though David’s physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. His gift to us is the memory of how he touched each of our lives that we carry on his legacy of love and compassion in all that we do.
