Digna Meneses was born in Fomento, Las Villas Cuba on July 31st 1925 and resided in Cuba until April of 1959. She and her family then came to the United States through New York, where she made Union City, New Jersey, their home. Years later, Digna and her family moved to Orlando, Florida, where she provided a loving and nurturing home for over 40 years. Digna was a loving wife to Nilo Meneses, whom she was happily married to for more then 60 years. She was a devoted and caring mother to, Ovilio Meneses, her beloved son, and took on a motherly role to many including Francis Morales-Reyes and Idoris Meneses. Digna was an incredible grandmother to David and Nurmy, and great grandmother to Alexandria, Evan, Rachel and Lindsey. She was a loving aunt to three nieces, Rosy, Elena, and Clara. Digna had siblings in Cuba, and is survived by her sister Beatriz Morales, whom she was very close to here in Orlando. Digna Meneses provided trustworthy guidance, delicious meals, and a loving home to many, she is survived by all those that she cared for so selflessly.
