For his family that he loved so much: His wife Ann, daughter Lisa, sons Richard & Marc, grandsons Evan & Eric and all of his siblings, in-laws and friends.
Domenic was a graduate of the Naval Academy, received his Master's degree from Boston University and proudly served his country for over 20 years. Among his decorations, he was awarded the Bronze Star with combat “V”, Joint Service Commendation, National Defense Service Medal, Antarctica Service Medal, Com 7th Fleet Unit Commendation, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal with 2 stars, Republic of Vietnam Staff Medal 1st Class, Republic of Vietnam Distinguished Sailor Award 2nd class.
Most notably, in his civilian career, "Dom" served as an executive for General Mills (Darden) Restaurants as National Director of Logistics. After his career with GM, he consulted on a number of logistic projects which included: relocating and managing the U.S. Navy’s underwater sound reference laboratory from Orlando, Florida to Newport, Rhode Island and coordinating disaster relief for Hurricane Katrina.
He gave of his time and talent freely as a volunteer with the Red Cross, the Orange County Florida Voter’s Registration Office, The Veteran’s Administration and Orange County School Board.
He was a cherished family member, true patriot and valued member of his community. He was deeply loved, and will be missed by many.
Burial and internment will be held at the United States Naval Academy.
