

Donna was born at Orange General Hospital in Orlando, Florida, to the late James Otis Watson and Bonnie Phillips Watson. She was also predeceased by her brother, James Otis Watson Jr.
A lifelong resident of Orlando, Donna graduated from Boone High School in 1958, where she met the love of her life, Charles R. Motl. They were married for 64 wonderful years and built a life filled with love and devotion.
She is survived by her husband, Charles R. Motl, and her beloved son, Carl R. Motl.
Donna was a woman of extraordinary talents and passions. She was an exceptionally gifted artist and gardener, always finding ways to bring beauty into the lives of others. A skilled seamstress, she not only created her own clothing but also designed and crafted custom draperies and valances for many beautiful homes in Central Florida. Known for her sharp sense of style, she was a classy and elegant dresser, always impeccably put together.
Donna loved traveling and exploring new places, especially alongside her loved ones. She traveled to Hawaii with her son, Carl, and cherished the memories they created there. She also visited her cousin in California, enjoying the opportunity to connect with family and explore the West Coast.
Above all, Donna cherished her family, friends, and faith. She was a devoted member of Eastland Baptist Church, where she was a treasured part of her church family. As a dedicated prayer warrior, she constantly lifted others up in prayer, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and kindness that touched all who knew her.
Services
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Eastland Baptist Church, 9000 Lake Underhill Rd., Orlando, FL 32825. A funeral service will follow at 10:30 AM, also at Eastland Baptist Church.
A committal service will take place on Friday, January 17, 2025, at 12:30 PM at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 Temple Dr., Winter Park, FL 32789.
