Edward graduated from Wilkinsburg High School, class of 1951. Following high school he served in the US Army in Korea. Upon his return, he attended Robert Morris in Pittsburgh. He married Elizabeth (Gagnon) in 1959 and together they celebrated their 60th Anniversary in January.
Red established a long and successful career at Columbia Gas. Upon his retirement in 1994 he and Liz move to Florida, where they could enjoy time spent with children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth, children, Michael (Patricia), Kevin, Susan Higginbotham (Steve) and Carolyn, as well as many children and grandchildren.
