Dear Ennis Family,

I can remember the very day I met your mother, because she was a bundle of energy and joy. We had stopped in on way to some event, but she graciously offered to feed us (her every day standard I found out) and gave Cindy one of her famous “mom loves you” packages to go.

I always enjoyed my visits, though few, they were memorable. Specifically; I was alone one Christmas but she open her home to me to celebrate the holiday. She had lil gifts for me too, with my own “color” wrapping paper (just like her own children)...I felt so included. She was such a good Mom and you didn’t even have to be her’s to know & feel it.

She openly gave love, lived love, and is loved. Heaven is probably settling her in for Angel duty. I suspect she’ll find a way to peak in on her family & friends now and then, so don’t be surprised if you get a special sign just to let you know she’s okay and so are you...Bless you and yours Mrs. Ennis and thank you❤️

Mom Ennis took me in at the age of 13 and treated me as one of her own. I remember so much laughter and happiness in her home and she always made me feel loved. She threw me my 13th birthday party in her home, which I will always remember. It's been a very long time since I last saw Mrs. Ennis, but I will always remember her with much fondness. My heart and prayers for JoAnn, Cindy and Bobby and the entire family.

Mama,
You were my biggest cheerleader and the glue that held this family together. For years you were the only parent we had, and you did a great job of raising a family who knew they were loved. It took some of us a while to turn our lives around, but you were also the one that started us on the path to recovery.
You fought for your rights, as when you fought to get your healthcare from the military. If it wasn't for you, millions of spouses from the military would not have their health insurance. Thank God you fought for you and them!
Say hi to Patty, Nana and Grandad, Ashley and the rest of the gang that were waiting to greet you in heaven. I will see you again.
I love you, and miss you already.
Jo-Anne
