Erika E. Bussard

Erika was born September 28, 1939 in Driechenhain, West Germany. She was the fourth child, born to Berta Uhl and Wilhelm Groll.

She moved to the United States on June 4, 1964 to be closer to her Sister, Hannelore, and youngest brother, Klaus, who both had immigrated a few years prior. She has lived in Orlando, Florida since 1978.

Erika was blessed to raise three wonderful sons, as a single Mother, who loved her dearly; Matthias, Uwe and Joe. She was also beloved by their wives, Loree, Yvette and Kathy. She joyfully was blessed, and dearly loved by her oldest Grandson, Christian, and her three Granddaughter’s, Daniela, Isabella and Michela.

Erika was a compassionate, loving, faith filled and joyous woman who brought warmth, love and laughter to everyone she knew. She was also an extremely hardworking woman. She generously gave all of herself to whatever task she had!

She truly delighted in the many friends and family she enjoyed all over the world.

Erika undoubtedly touched the hearts of all those she came to know. Her joy came from the numerous friendships she cherished, and all the love she graciously gave! It was always reciprocated by all the many phone calls and posts she would receive, especially on her deeply, cherished Birthday!

Just prior to her passing, Erika was able to joyfully celebrate her 86th birthday, surrounded by her loving family, and dear friends.

Her family is truly grateful for the time had with their Mother and Oma! And, extremely touched by all those who loved her!

Heaven certainly has another Angel, who will be incredibly missed!
