Eva V. Tomines

Eva Valenciano Tomines 62, was a beautiful, loving and devoted mother and wife who passed away last Tuesday, September 9, 2014. She was born on May 10th 1952 in Camalig, Albay, Philippines. After spending most of her adolescent life there, she immigrated to New York City in the 70's to pursue a career in real estate. It was there where she met Celestino V Tomines III, the love of her life of 32 years. Eva and her husband Les would then relocate to Florida to escape the harsh winters and provide a better life for her children. Eva loved traveling, cooking, but most importantly spending time with family and friends. Aside from all of her endearing qualities, her most defining characteristic was her strong will and fighting spirit. A spirit that would manifest itself in the 14 year long battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband Les Tomines; her two sons Manuel and JC Tomines; and grandson Sebastien.

Viewing will be held for Eva on Thursday, September 18th from 3-8pm at the Family Funeral Care 13001 S. John Young Parkway Orlando, FL 32837. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 19th at the Holy Family Catholic Church 5125 S. Apopka Vineland Rd. Orlando, FL at 11am.
