George William Charlton Jr.

George William Charlton, Jr., age 72, of Orlando, Florida passed away on June 19, 2018 in Tampa, Florida. He was born on October 8, 1945 in Newark, Ohio to the late George William Charlton Sr. and Doris June Ogan. George is survived by his wife Ana Charlton, his brother Vic McCune, his children Cherie Charlton, Sandi Charlton, Kim Charlton and Brian Charlton as well as his step-sons Fred Moses and Michael Moses. He is also survived by his multiple grandchildren, one great grandchild and a multitude of extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.

George was an Electronic Engineer for most of his life. His professional career started in the United States Navy from 1966 to 1969. In his free time he enjoyed watching sports, grilling on his green egg grill, traveling, diving as he was a dive master, socializing with family and friends and Golf, Golf, Golf!

Arrangements have been entrusted to Family Funeral Care in Orlando, Florida. A visitation is scheduled for Sunday, June 24, 2018 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Family Funeral Care in Orlando, Florida. A funeral service will take place at Family Funeral Care in Orlando, Florida on Monday, June 25, 2018 at 10:00am followed by a graveside service with military honors set to take place at 1:00pm at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513.
