

Giuseppe was born on August 26, 1949, in Mongrassano, Italy. His love and career of trains began in Canada as a track foreman, and moved onto New York City where he worked for Metro-North until retirement. He was known as someone who could fix almost anything, knew his way around a workshop, and appreciated a good glass of wine.
Giuseppe is preceded in death by his second wife, Maria Luisa, who passed away after a battle with cancer.
Giuseppe is survived by his wife, Maria G. D’Ambrosio. Giuseppe and Maria met in 2001 after being introduced by a family friend, and they went on to marry in 2003. They resided in Eastchester, New York, before later relocating to Kissimmee, Florida.
Giuseppe is also survived by his children, Paul, Maria Catherine, Matthew, Christopher, and Michael; his stepdaughters, Valerie and Cynthia; his beloved grandchildren, Valentina, Antonia, Joseph, Abigail, and Ethan; his brother Guido and sister Lucia; and many extended family members, including Jorge, Rachel, Jennifer, Sara, and John.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at Family Funeral Care, 13001 South John Young Pkwy, Orlando, FL 32837, US, on June 4, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm followed by a vigil prayer service.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, June 5, 2026 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 700 Brown Chapel Road, St. Cloud, Florida 34769 with entombment to follow in Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 Temple Drive, Winter Park, Florida 32789.
In lieu of traditional remembrances, the family requests memorials be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 700 Brown Chapel Road, St. Cloud, Florida 34769.
