She was born on New Year's Eve, December 31st, 1949 in New York City, New York to the late Miguel & Carmen (Santiago) Vega.
Gladys took great pride in her job as a hotel stylist; yet nothing compared to her deep love for her family. She was always the caretaker of them all, their "Florence Nightingale" with her delicious beef stew & her big, warm heart. Her favorite time of all was Christmas together, when they will continue to celebrate the style she brought to that too!
She was preceded in death by her Brother, Luis Santiago, and Sister, Judy Medina.
She is survived by Siblings: Lenor, Freddy, Joe, Mikey, Danny, Maria, Gloria and Wilfred; her Daughters: Christina, Jilliane and Alexis; her Grandchildren: Niko, Kistina, Manny, Evan, Neiken, Trinity, Hunter, Thearen, Hayven, Lyelen, Avery and Alairen; along with many loved Nieces, Nephews and three Sons-in-Law.
