Hassa Arlene Jewell, was born to Donald G. DeVasher and Arlene L. DeVasher on August 17, 1936 in St. Louis, MO. When she was still a child her parents relocated near Washington D.C., Where she finished growing up with her younger sister, Donna and her brother, Donald. After graduation from high school, she was on the move again to Baltimore, MD to attend nursing school at MD General Hospital School of Nursing, and graduated in 1956. On one of her breaks from school she went home to visit her family, where she was introduced to her future husband, James D. Jewell and they were married August 23, 1956 in a double wedding. At that time she became an Air Force Wife, who went on to have four children within six years. In 1973 he retired from the Air Force and she went back into the work force and became a school nurse, then soon went to work for a pediatrician doctor in Winter Park until her final retirement after about 20 years of services at the age of 62. These are the ones that will join her in Heaven: James D. Jewell, Husband/Father, Donna Tallerico, Sister, Donald DeVasher, Father, Arlene DeVasher, Mother. And these are the ones that she will leave behind: Patricia Costales, Daughter, Richard Jewell, Son, Jeffery Jewell, Son, Alma Jewell, Daughter-In-Law, Susan Musgrave, Daughter, Larry Tarisel, Nephew, Mike Tarisel, Nephew, Chris Tarisel, Nephew, Caroline Connolly, Niece, and then some 10 Grand Children and 4 Great-Grandchildren.
