Garrett, Hazel. Hazel Moore Garrett was born on June 15th, 1928 in Shelby, South Carolina. She lived a full life as a military wife to her loving husband, James D. Garrett. She not only served her husband and four daughters with love, she also faithfully served Delaney Street Baptist Church for many years. She is survived by her four daughters Donna Johnson, Sherry Garrett, Karen Smith and Sharen Hooks. She has two son-in-laws, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Though Alzheimer?s sought to take her memory, her incredible legacy of love will always be remembered by many. Services will be held at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home (2811 Curry Ford Rd) on December 21 at 2:00 pm.
