Hilda L. Smith

Smith, Hilda L., 81, of Orlando, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2010. Hilda was born February 4, 1929 in Allentown, Pennsylvania,daughter of Frank and Gisella Lederer. She married Ley Holly Smith in Orlando on February 5, 1949. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Junior League of Orlando and the Rosalind Club . Hilda was a loving, loyal, strong and steadfast wife and mother. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Ley Holly Smith (October 11, 2009) and she is survived by her children Frank A. (Becky) Smith of Kissimmee, Hallie (Stephen) Evans of Tampa, Ley H. Smith, Jr. of Orlando; grandchildren Christopher, Frank and Kelly Smith of Kissimmee, Matthew, John and Isabelle Evans of Tampa, Cody, Joshua and Holly Smith of Orlando; two great grandchildren; and her Lederer siblings, Frank Lederer of Wilkes-Barre, PA, Josephine Bauer of Allentown, PA, Bill (Joyce) Lederer of Allentown, PA, Stella Coyle of Wilkes-Barre, PA, Leroy (Pat) Lederer of Phoenix, Arizona. A visitation will held at CAREY HAND COLONIAL FUNERAL HOME, 2811 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, on Wednesday March 3rd from 6:00-8:00 P.M.The funeral service will be at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home on Thursday March 4th at 11:00 A.M. with burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
