Kevin enlisted in the Army upon graduating from high school and served three years as a Radio Teletype Operator, Specialist 4. After service, he became a painter and worked several years at the pro desk at Home Depot.
Kevin was raised in the hills of West Virginia and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Fishing was his passion, especially speck and bass fishing with his friend Russel and his son, Little Kevin.
Friends and family will forever remember his joyful sense of humor, spinning stories and telling jokes. He will be greatly missed by all those who loved him and his corny jokes. He was a great brother, father and friend. The family gives special thanks to Rich and Paulette who were faithful friends that cared for him whenever he needed help. It is fitting that they were able to spend the last few days of his life with him.
