Dear Robert and Vicky,

Please accept my deepest condolences on the recent loss of your dear mother, such a kind and lovely lady. I remember her fondly and I accompany you in your grief.

In 1966 Inge and I were both teaching in Colegio Bolivar in Cali, Colombia.  She taught 3rd grade , and I taught in 1st.  Over the years we both took different positions in administration.  As a guidance counselor Inge was always available to listen and to encourage both students and faculty.  She touched lives in so many positive ways.  She was always there for whoever knocked on her door.  Her caring demeanor and insight helped me and my children in a myriad of ways. 
We all remember her as one of the most influential people in our lives.  I will miss her greatly.

Dear Vicky and Robert,
I remember you all since I was a primary student in CB and we lived in Versalles, so we went to school on the same bus. This was in the late 50’s and 60’s. Some years went by, so in the mid 80’s when Ann Hernandez invited me to come work at CB as part of the Counseling staff, I was happy to have the opportunity to work with Inge, who at some point became Middle School Principal. Together with Peggy Pastor, Beth Wallace and Rosemary Palencia we formed our “Breakfast Club” group. I have wonderful memories of these Saturday brunches and the many years we worked together until she retired. I have missed her through the years and will always remember her. I send you my condolences, she was a wonderful friend and co-worker.

Mrs Koele, along with Miss Vettiger, Meneses, Ordoñez, Mullenax, Poggio, Miss Piety, Roesenberg and others were those that make me feel so grateful!! Colegio Bolivar had great people and Inge was THE BEST… and she even taught my daughter!!! Unforgettable. Beso a Vicky y Bobby

I had the pleasure of getting to know Inge and Case (her husband) when I taught with her at Colegio Bolivar in 1967-70. She was always welcoming and helpful to me. We both loved to play tennis.
I’ll never forget when Case had his record collection stolen. He went to the Black Market and bought it back. Good system in Cali!😉
I’m sending condolences to the family and friends as we all mourn the loss of an extraordinary human being.
Dr. Karen Dittmer Bowyer, another Ph.D, who benefited from the University of Alabama as Inge did at Colegio Bolivar.
