Sorry for the loss of your Mom. My grandparents lived next to you on Central ave.  Your Mom was a wonderful women

She was a wonderful woman and made some kick-butt Spanish rice that I will never forget.  A woman of few words, but always had a great smile.  She will be missed.

My memories of Irma Caban goes back to the mid 1980's when Roger and I were in a band, rehearsing at his parents home.Before some of our rehearsals, she would make sandwiches for us.She was very kind and sincere.Very sad to hear of her passing.

I'm sorry to hear of Irma Caban's passing. No words can be put together that could ease one who has lost someone so near and dear to everyone's hearts. However, be comforted in knowing that she is in a better place, and that those who she has left behind will be there anytime you need Roger and Betty...our prayers are with you.

Irma Jean was my grandmother. I remember living with her and grandpa in Chicago when we were little. It is very apparent that she was loving and supportive of her family, as she raised two successful children.  She will be missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

I feel very blessed to have had Irma Caban as my mother-in-law. She immediately became a part of my family. My mother, aunt, and children always enjoyed her company. You are missed Irma.

Where do you start talking about someone who has been so wonderful, and loving their entire life. There are many people that come and go as we live, and there are only a few that can touch us, and be a part of us, for the rest of our lives. Irma J Caban was that person, and we were proud to know her as our mother. She was tremendously supportive, not opinionated, unless asked. She faced many adversities and overcame them. Where ever she resided was home to us, and if you were having a challenging day, all you had to do was call her, and you felt like you were home, safe, at peace and loved. She never asked us for anything. She would always place our needs before her own. You are now free of a tired body, and dancing with the rest of the angels who rejoice in God's grace. Your other daughter Edith, your loving husband Raimundo, and all your family and friends who left before you, are with you now. Thank you for being you. We love you momma!     Roger
