JoAnn Corbin Burns

JoAnn Corbin Burns, 81, of Kissimmee, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2025. Born on September 28, 1943, in Live Oak, Florida, JoAnn lived a life marked by quiet strength, dedication to family, and a deep love of simple joys.

JoAnn spent much of her career working in Textile Services for Walt Disney World, where she took pride in her work and built lasting friendships. In her free time, she found joy in tending to her flowers and curling up with a good book, activities that brought her both peace and pleasure.

She is lovingly remembered by her children: Stacie Knight, Tony Smith, Terry Widner, and Jerry Widner; her grandchildren: Jamie Knight, Kenny “Trey” Knight III, Nicholas Knight, Brittany Widner, Chase Widner, Rylie Widner, Christopher Widner, and Maddie Godwin; and her siblings: Keith Corbin, Sharon Rowell, and Donna Hightower.

She is preceded in death by her father; Thomas Denis Corbin of Branford, Florida, and mother; Ida Mae McCall from Plant City, Florida.

JoAnn will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
