John had quite a career. He was a firefighter with Venice, Township Fire Department in Lennon, Mi for 30 yrs. He also had a career with General Motors of Flint, MI retired and moved to FL where his love for children lead him to becoming a Cast Member Coordinator at Epcot in which he also retired from. He had a passion for being very outgoing, among hobbies included painting vechicals and a general love for cars and refurbishing vintage furniture. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother who will be deeply missed.
John was preceded in death by son John Axtell, III; brother Dan Axtell, parents Lettie and John Axtell Sr.
John is survived by his wife, Brinda Axtell; daughter Jill Ibel (Jason); father-in-law Richard Krantz; brother Lonnie Axtell (Carol) and sister-in-law Geraldine Axtell.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jasmin, Ashly, Rachel, and John, IV; great grandchildren, Nevaeh and Elijah, and a host of nieces, nephews, and adopted nieces.
A celebration of life service will be held from 1-3 pm on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at 1140 Robert Ridge Ct, Kissimmee, Florida 34747.
