John will truly be missed. He was a funny guy full of humor

My siblings…Lynn, Lenny, Karen, Christine, and I, are shocked and saddened to hear of Johnny’s passing. Our condolences go out to Karen and her family, and the entire Bukowski family. 

We grew up with the Bukowskis, mainly MaryAnne and Johnny. Their beautiful grape vines bordered our backyards. We played together all the time. We have so many childhood memories, many of which are flooding back into my mind, now. 

Johnny, like MaryAnne, you are gone WAY TO SOON. There is some comfort in knowing you are reunited with each other, and your parents in heaven. 

RIP, childhood friend. Give MaryAnne, your mom, and my mom giant hugs and kisses from the Checkosky kids.❤️🙏🏻
