John Anthony Goldsmith, 61, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on October 8, 2026. Born on February 26, 1965, in Jamaica, John built a life defined by steady devotion to the Lord and the people he loved. He had a generous spirit that left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
John earned an associate’s degree and worked as a travel consultant, a role well suited to his warm manner and attentive care for others. Above all, he was a husband, father, brother, and dear friend—remembered for his kindness, compassion, and the easy smile he carried with him. There was a quiet strength in his dedication to family, and a lightness in his humor that made time with him feel comforting and bright.
He found joy in listening to reggae music, and he followed football and soccer with genuine enthusiasm. Yet nothing mattered more to John than family time, where his love was most clearly felt and most freely given.
John is survived by Georgia, his wife; his children, Melissa, Nikole, Kylie, Leanne, and Troy; his siblings, Angelika, Lascelles, Paul, and Michelle; and his grandchildren, Kaiyen and Ray J. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonie and Raymond Goldsmith.
A Funeral Service will be held at Greeneway Church, 3400 Hunter's Creek Blvd, Orlando, FL 32837, US, on October 17, 2026, at 11:00 am,
