Josefina Favela Roman, age 76, passed away peacefully September 26, 2018. She was born January 25, 1942 in San Pedro, Coahuila, Mexico, a daughter of Vicente Favela Pescina (Father) and Eulolia Ramirez (Mother).
She has eleven siblings, Josefina Favela Roman, Maria Favela, Maria Elena Favela, Lidia Mercedes Favela, Martha Favela, Quirino Favela, Maria Guadalupe Favela, Cristina Favela, David Favela, Margarita Favela and Rogelio Favela.
Josefina was a homemaker and got married at age 16 to Jesus Moreno Segura and had 6 children with him which are listed below. After being a widow in Mexico, she came to the United States when she was 52 years old. At age 57, she married Juan Roman on June 26, 1999 and later became a widow.

When she came to the United States in 1994 at 52 years old, she became a member at Primera Iglesia Bautista where she remained Faithful until her passing. Her favorite hobbies and things to do were singing in the choir at church, crochet, doing word search puzzles, to do church activities, and cooking for others and serving and worshipping the Lord.
Her favorite hymn was “Cuan Grande Es El” and her favorite Bible Verses were Psalm 23 and Psalm 91
The best words to describe her is Loving, Caring, Always had a smile on her face, always had a great sense of Humor (even in her last days), Faithful, Strong.
