She was a force of nature; a woman of conviction who literally pulled herself up by her own bootstraps.
She faced life's challenges by herself arriving from Puerto Rico as a 19 year old when she first set foot on New York soil. From there, she brought three of her four sisters to live with us to get settled and begin their own journey.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Fina loved her special needs kids she watched during her bus monitor term with Orange County Public Schools.
She will be profoundly missed by her children,Pete, Ed, Liz, Damita Ann Marie (from another mudda; lol), her grandchildren, Tanya, Elaina, Victor, and Dex as well as her great grand babies, Lida, Dominic and Nancy, and, of course, her many friends. There is a viewing on July 28 from 9:30 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. The burial will immediately follow at 11:30 A.M. Flowers are nice but please also consider donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in her name.
