Joyce Anne West

Joyce Anne West went to be with Our Lord at the age of 90 on February 7, 2022. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Max West and sons Donnie West, Kenny West and infant John West and her brother Reed Willson (Shirley). Joyce is survived by two sons Bill West (Barbara) and Kevin West (Lena) and five grandchildren Lance Kahn (Lucy), Kenny West, Amy Batty (Jordan), Kyle West and Sarah Beamon (Rodney) and Joyce also had 4 great-grandchildren Gracelynn, Kaoe, Kannon and Charlotte.

Born and raised in Geauga Lake, Ohio, she left to join the Air Force where she met Max, her husband of 54 years. Among many places, the whole family resided in Orlando for 40 yrs and while there, Joyce worked and retired from Jewett Orthopaedic Clinic. For the last 15 years, Joyce lived at the Bob Hope Village, where she enjoyed the caring atmosphere with women of her similar life experiences.

Joyce lived for her family, and if she ever met you, you became instant family.

She loved to serve others and volunteered many years to Hospice, USO, and VA clinic.

For friends in the Ft Walton area and neighbors in the Bob Hope village there will be a memorial service Wednesday Feb 16, 2022 at 11am.

A Military service at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell Florida is Thursday February 17, 2022 at 11:30am.
