Juanita "Tina" Allison Prochet

In the late 1960s, Tina journeyed to the United States, first making her home in Chicago. With remarkable determination, courage, and vision, she later sent for her children to join her. In 1978, she moved to New York, a few years later she relocated to Orlando, Florida, where she continued to build a life rooted in hard work and purpose. Tina dedicated many years of service as a legal secretary before retiring from the Darden Company.

Tina found joy in life’s simple yet deeply meaningful moments. She loved attending her meetings at the Kingdom Hall, crocheting, and watching her favorite game shows- Jeopardy! She was known for her strong work ethic, firm convictions, observant nature, and sharp humor. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on August 1, 1995 and her devotion and belief in Bible truths guided the way she lived and loved.

She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 37 years, Rene Prochet; her five children: Donna Barrett, Ivor Barrett (Patsy Barrett), Michael Anderson, April Grant, and Karen Robinson (Ira Robinson II). She is also remembered by her four stepchildren: Kathleen Cox, Leslie Laraque (Mandy Laraque), Larry Laraque (Jennifer Laraque), and Rodney Limosine (Emma Limosine). Her legacy continues through her 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild—earning her the proud and joyful title she often gave herself: “Triple G.”

She is also survived by her beloved sisters, Zoeth Kiernan, Joyann Fuller, and Nicole Sinclair; her brother, Raphel “Tony” Sinclair; along with a host of nieces, nephews, lifelong friends, and extended family whose lives were forever enriched by her presence.

Tina’s legacy is one of love, strength, faith, and enduring grace. She will be deeply missed, lovingly cherished, and forever remembered.
