Julia Ann Pennington

Julia Ann (Glasscock) Pennington passed away on April 29, 2024, in Orlando, Florida, at the age of 90. She was born on May 26, 1933, in Fort Sheridan, Illinois. Julie was known for her positive outlook on life, close friendships, and love for entertaining others. She was a hardworking and caring individual who cherished her family dearly. Julie also had a passion for travel, with a special fondness for the beach. Julie is survived by her husband Charles, children Richard Girdley, Maureen Putbrese, Scott Girdley, Kirk Girdley, Kelly Minyard, stepdaughter Linda Ames, 13 grandchildren and 15 great- grandchildren.

Julie will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.

A Celebration of Life service in memory of Julie will be held on June 18, 2024, at 2:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church of Orlando, followed by a reception at the church dining hall.
