

Mrs. Katherine “Kay” Boza, 72, of Orlando passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Born June 30, 1939 in East Meadow, New York, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas Cheosky and the late Catherine Harap Cheosky. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Boza.
Kay was a very active and outgoing person. After retiring from Disney, she kept her life full with vacations and cruises with family and friends. The consummate hostess Kay enjoyed cooking and hosting parties for her family and friends.
Kay served as the 9:30 a.m. Mass coordinator for the Basilica of Mary Queen of the Universe Shrine. She was also a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and Compassionate Friends.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Dick Boza; her son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Cheryl Boza; and her sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Phil Hall.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 – 5 p.m. and from 6 – 8 p.m. on Friday, June 1, 2012 at Family Funeral Care.
