Katherine Elizabeth Lovelace, 49, entered the Kingdom of Heaven on April 11, 2019. Born on February 21, 1970, Katie knew how to celebrate life’s joys, and face its challenges.

After high school, her adventurous nature took her to Boston where she worked and resided for several years until she could no longer tolerate the too short summers and the too long winters.

Her move to Orlando brought her so much happiness as she created a family of wonderful, caring friends, and a beautiful home for herself and her daughter Emma, the love of her life.

She will always be remembered as a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend, and forever missed by all.

Katie will be missed. She was part of my life in our early 20's. She was a wonderful friend. She was always smiling and full of fun and adventure. I do not think she knew a stranger.
Katie's adventures took her to Boston, then Florida. I will always remember what a beautiful person inside and out she was. Prayers and Thoughts go to her family and close friends.
Rest in Peace, Katie.
Love,
Heidi

I was lucky to have met Katie 8-9 years ago when I use to be Emma’s daycare teacher. Katie was always amazing and she was easy to talk to and joke around with. It’s been many years since I last seen her and Emma but understand how this loss is a big loss for all those who have been blessed to have met Katie. Whether you spoke to her for a few minutes to knowing her longer she is unforgettable. My prayers and condolences are with the entire family and friends who mourns a beautiful soul.

Such a horrible tragedy to such a wonderful person, who was taken away too soon. I was Emma’s Kindergarten and First grade teacher, and know first hand what a wonderful mother she was to Emma. She was always willing to help and support everything that Emma and our class did—while having fun doing it! My heart just aches for Katie’s family and mostly sweet Emma, whom I love! My thoughts are with Emma and the whole family. She was truly a wonderful woman!
