Today is the last day to add any messages to the Guest Book.  We all still miss Kathryn very much, and memories of her will be kept alive in our hearts, but henceforth we will not be able to utilize this mechanism to memorialize her.  God be with you---

So sorry to hear about Kathy's passing.She was such a dear friend of my late sister, Lynn Breazeale Gest.They were such good friends at Leon High school in Tallahassee and had the good fortune to find each other again and to know they were living so close to one another.Sending my heartfelt sympathy to the family.

Mrs. Freeman was my first grade teacher at Pershing Elementary. She was wonderfully patient and kind. The teaching world will miss her.

Kathy and I taught together at Pershing Elementary.  She was a dear, supportive friend to me in my very emotional early adulthood.  John and I are saddened by her loss and send our heartfelt sympathy to her family.

I enjoyed working with Mrs. Freeman at Waterford Elementary School.  She had such a kind spirit working with the children and will be missed.

Kathryn was a good neighbor when we were children and a good friend at Leon High.  My thoughts and prayers are with her family.  Peace to you all.

Dan, our hearts go out to you. We have fond memories of being instrumental in you and Kathryn meeting and of JR performing your marriage ceremony, fond memories of knowing Kathryn since 6th grade, of her laughing as she took me to Leon in her Isetta car while I used my hairspray, and of many years of continued friendship.  What a blessing that we were able to spend time with you two last May. We pray for God to continue being your strength and encouragement. Just think, Kathy is now face-to-face with her Savior ~ JESUS.

Kathryn was a good friend of mine at Leon High and I will always remember her as being so kind and sweet to everyone.  My thoughts and prayers go out to the family as I know you will miss her greatly.

I taught with Kathryn many years ago at Waterford Elementary.  She was an outstanding teacher and a blessing to her students.  She will be greatly missed.    Vanessa Arana

Kathy was such a dear, sweet friend. We shared some great times together from the time we were beginning teachers rooming together and throughout many factors in our lives.  Even though I live in Jacksonville and have for several years, we've kept in touch over the years.  Kathy was always such a loving, caring person, always thinking of others before herself.  Her sweet spirit and Christian love will always remain with me.  I will truly miss her.  Our prayers go out to Dan and family during this difficult time.  Kathy is surely in the best place now and will be a guardian angel for many. May God watch over you and bless you.

My prayers and thoughts to dear Kathryn's family and friends.  She was a very special, loving, giving lady. After knowing her since the 5th grade, our paths crossed again a few years ago in Central Florida.  We had good visits in person and a lot of communication by email.  She will be missed.

Kathryn was one of my best friends at Leon High.  I will cherish the memories of her forever.  I don't think that I have ever met a kinder or more thoughtful person.

My cousin Kathryn was one of the sweetest persons I have ever had the privilege of knowing. While growing up, my mother would take us to visit her to make sure that she was doing okay. Later in life, Kathryn & Dan would visit my mom and do the same for her. She was such a special person. My thoughts & prayers go out to Dan, Barbara, Whitey & Courtney.
