Kristen was such a rock in my life, the kind of incredible, loyal, giving friend that's so rare these days. She was there for me during the good times and the bad. When times were tough, she was the one who was always checking in, inviting me to do stuff to get out of my funk, and, above all, always being a true friend. We had so many laughs and shared so much in the few years we knew each other. I loved her dearly. She was one of a kind and infinitely special. I remember how scared I was after her car accident and going to see her in the hospital and it was amazing to see how brave and strong she was then, stronger than everyone else, it seemed, so upbeat in her usual way and ready to just keep going. She was an inspiration. I'm so sad that she's no longer here, that I can't call her up or go see her. Her life was short but it was fuller than most. She was so loved. And she had so much love to give. We can all learn from Kristen to live life with all you have and to love with all your might. She did both of those things and the world is a better place because she did that. She made it brighter and more wonderful for all who knew her. Much love to the Rahn family. You are in my thoughts all of the time.

I never remember Kristen without a smile on her face.  She had such a zest for life and fun and friends and of course family.
She will be missed by all that knew her but her memory will continue to live in our hearts.

Most of my memories of Kristen were when she was little.  I have a picture in one of my scrapbooks of a whirl of long blond hair attached to a little girl playing with Matilda.   Matilda's ears and Kristen's hair were flying!  They had the best time and so did I, just watching them play.

To the parents, family and friends of Kristen, I am so sorry to hear of your loss.  I played kickball in Orlando for 6 seasons.  I also lost my 32 year old daughter on December 19, 2017.  It was a sudden and extremely devastating occurrence that we are still struggling to understand and process.  My daughter left behind two little girls who are only 9 and 12 years old.  They both just had birthdays in January.  I have attended two GriefShare support sessions in Apopka, Florida since January 29 and found them to be somewhat helpful and comforting. We are so saddened by Kristen's passing. She was amazing beautiful vibrant soul with so much to offer the world. We will miss her deeply....until we meet again my Steelers friend!! RIP.
