Born September 17th, 1921 Goodhope, Guyana
She was the youngest of five siblings.
She was married to Raphael Layne and together they had three daughters:
Lorna Lucretia, Vesta Elena and Urla Patricia.
Lena was a seamstress by trade. Her hobbies were singing, cooking and gardening. After she became widowed, she wore many hats, because she was
determined to take care of her daughters.
Many called her mom, grandma or Aunt Lena.
She leaves to cherish her memories 9 Grandchildren:
Helen, Sharon, Rhon, Trico, Dwain, Candy! Lindsay, Steffan and Nicole;
13 Great grandchildren: Eon, Akeem, Trica, Aaron, Quacy, Akeshia, Abeeni, Anthony, Emery, Rissi, Kari, Kelly And Andre;
2 Great great grand children: Shyeem and Rodwin;
She was Aunt to: Evryl, Hermina, Ivor, Esmy, Jocelyn, Anzie, Pearl, Joy, Dennis Tabby, Junior, Berle, Jenny, Vivian, and many others.
