Raised in Hingham, Linda spent many years building a vibrant life full of deep friendships. Driven by a lifelong passion for Disney, Linda and her beloved late husband, Larry, retired to Florida.
Linda brought her signature style, sharp wit, and warm hospitality to everything she did. For over ten years, she was a cherished team member at the Hollywood Brown Derby at Walt Disney World, and was a regular camper at Fort Wilderness, and enjoyed the parks and spending time with her Belle Isle neighbors.
Above all, Linda was a devoted mother and grandmother who always put her family first. She is survived by her devoted children, Deb and husband John Hornig, her sons Chris Emery and his partner Christine DelPrete, Richie Emery and his wife Michelle, and her cherished daughter, Kelley Emery and partner Paul Escobar, her grandchildren Michelle, Alexis, Matthew and James and all her loving great-grandchildren. And of course, her devoted teeny tiny dog, Lola. Linda was preceded in death by granddaughter Cassandra.
Linda’s love, determination, and wonderful sense of humor were passed on to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
A celebration of her life will be held in Belle Isle, Florida. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Linda’s honor to Judy's Pet Rescue of Sanford.
