Mrs. Lois Jean Willson, 83, of Orlando passed away Sunday, August 5th, 2018 at home. She was born Jan. 8, 1935 in Shenandoah, Virginia to Raymond and Leila Rau. Lois has been a member of Trinity Lutheran Church since 1960 when she converted from the Methodist faith to Lutheran under the tutelage of Pastor James Kunze.
Lois was a private person, dedicating her life to the care of her husband and children. She enjoyed the daily routine that was made up of constant work around the house, no matter if it was washing clothes or, as in the early days, mowing the yard. She also enjoyed decorating her house and taking care of her plants.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, William Morris Willson Jr., two daughters, Cheryl Lynn Hladky (Michael), Deborah Ann Holder, and son William Morris Willson III; five grandchildren, Michelle Mitchell (Douglas), Jason Hladky, Ted and Jonathon Williams (Mindy) , Andrea Holder, and two great grandchildren, Hayden Mitchell and Emma Williams, all of whom reside in the Central and South Florida areas.
Visitation will be held for friends of the family at 10 am, Friday Aug. 10th, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 123 E. Livingston, Orlando, FL, 32801 followed by funeral services at 11 am. Internment will be at Glen Haven
Memorial Park at 12:30 pm.
