

Margaret (Marge) Lind of Orlando, Florida and Santa Fe, New Mexico went to be with the Angels February 19, 2012. Marge was born Margaret Mary Brockman in Carlsbad, NM on October 26, 1929 to Henry and Vera Brockman. She graduated from Carlsbad High and attended the University of NM. Marge enjoyed being a Girls Scout leader, doing hospital volunteer work, fishing, gardening, traveling, and playing tennis while living in Santa Fe. She spent many years as an insurance agent. Marge was always an avid reader. She remained in Santa Fe until 2005, when she moved to Orlando. Marge enjoyed library volunteer work in Orlando. She is predeceased by her daughter Linda Gordon and her brother James Brockman. Marge is survived by her daughter Karen Gordon of Santa Fe, daughter Laura Larson and son-in-law Clif Larson of Orlando, granddaughters Sara Daum and Krista Daum of Orlando, granddaughter Tamara Lucero and husband Anthony Lucero of Albuquerque, great-grandsons Julian and Gabriel, brother Francis Brockman and wife Joann of St. Louis, MO, sister-in-law Ann Brockman of Silver City, NM, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Larry and Nedra Gordon of Albuquerque, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. She will be remembered for her kindness, beauty, intelligence, and humor. She will feel right at home with the other Angels. No services are planned. Cremains will be taken and spread on the mountains near Santa Fe.
