Marie Suzie Zephirin

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, Marie Suzie Zephirin, affectionately known by many as “Tati Suzie” or “Mommy Suzie.” A loving widow, Marie lived a life rooted in love, faith, and a deep devotion to her family and heritage.

She is survived by her cherished son, Steeve Zephirin, and devoted daughter-in-law, Theresa Zephirin; as well as her beloved grandchildren, Gabriel Zephirin and Zara Zephirin, who brought her immeasurable joy. Along with her sister Marlene Thomas and nieces Gessie, Nancy, and Kerline, Suzie was treasured by many, including a large extended family of half siblings, and she maintained close bonds with family members from both her side and her late husband’s. Though too numerous to list, each of them held a special place in her heart.

Known for her love of Haitian music and the comfort she found in its rhythms, Marie created a home filled with warmth, hospitality, and laughter. Her nurturing spirit and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who had the blessing of knowing her.

Suzie's legacy of love and resilience will live on in the hearts of her family and all whose lives she touched.
