Mary Louise Porter

Born on July 24, 1956, in Zanesville Ohio, Mary was preceded In death by her parents Hollis (Pete) Porter and Patricia Porter, and now join them in eternal rest.

Mary is survived by her brother Kenneth Porter (Karen)

She was also a beloved Aunt to her Nieces and Nephews: Amy Porter, Brian Porter (Ashley) Kristine Sizemore (Kurt), David Porter (Kristi) Michael Porter, and Tracie Baxter (Corey). A proud Great Aunt to Her Great-Nieces and Nephews—Chloe, Madalynn, Hailey, Lucas, Rylie, Zachary, Caylee, Mikeo, Makia, Landon, and Owen—will forever remember her warmth and affection. Mary found immense joy in spending time with them, marveling at their growth and celebrating their achievement.

With a heart full of love and a spirit dedicated to nurturing others. Mary devoted her professional life to teaching. As a preschool teacher at Saints Peter and Paul Childcare, she touched the lives of countless young children and their families with her kindness, patience, and unwavering dedication. For Mary, teaching was more than a career—it was her calling. Her influence extended beyond the classroom, leaving a lasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to learn from her.

Mary was an avid reader, so much so she continued to share her love of reading by volunteering her time, to read to the kids at her former school after retirement.

Mary cherished moments spent in conversation, sharing stories, and catching up on the lives of those she loved. Her family and Friends will truly miss her and the love she shared with them.

A private service will be held with family at a later time.
