He is married to Jessica Aksu, has two Brothers: Casey, 28, and Patrick, 24, his Parents: Frank and Patricia Pasciucco, Grandmothers: Helen Pasciucco (passed), Annette Perito (passed), and Grandfathers: Frank Pasciucco, Vic Perito, Aunts: Christine Perito, Stephanie Conte, Lori Powers, Uncles: Joey Pasciucco (passed), Richie Koch, Cousins: Christian Perito, Isabella Conte, Ava Conte, and Kathryn Koch.
Matt has a large group of friends that he has carried since elementary, middle and high school that he talked to on a daily basis. He was always so intelligent, graduating in the top ten of his class and with honors at his high school. This lead him to starting school at the University of Florida briefly but could not keep away from his future wife, family and friends. He transferred to University of Central Florida in Orlando and finally felt at home. He was so proud to be a Knight (charge on!). He graduated with his Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering and went on to become a Mechanical Engineer at Lockheed Martin, which he loved very much. There he made many, many friends that he and his wife cherished so very much.
Matt always gave back, any chance he could. Telling his wife Jessica he had spare change for a reason as he rolled down his window to hand out money. He enjoyed playing volleyball, video games, drawing, learning new dance moves and most importantly hanging out with friends. To know Matt was to know a comedian. If you were in a group chat with Matt at any point, consider yourself very lucky. From Snapchats to Memes, he could always make his friends and family laugh. He always brought an infectious smile to any room and filled it with good memories. On the weekends his wife always had a plan set so they were always on the go. If you asked him though, he'd prefer to stay home and do things around the new house he and Jessica recently purchased. "Happy wife, happy life" he'd say often. He filled her life with so much joy.
He enjoyed watching many sports and was a big fan of our local Orlando City Soccer and was a big New York Mets fan when it came to baseball. He was so knowledgeable in an array of topics allowing him to hold an interesting conversation with just about anyone. He was also genuinely interested in people and their stories so he was a great listener.
Although he loved all animals Matt was definitely a cat person. His pride and joy Gray Girl was the second love of his life (after Jes of course). He raised her from being a stray new born 8 years ago and she's been with him ever since. He also had a new little kitten girl named Kona that Jes and him rescued recently to be a companion for Gray. He had a way with them that is indescribable. Although Jes feeds and looks after them more often, their Matt got all the loving cuddles because he was definitely their favorite, and that's more than okay. He loved them so much, they were so important to him.
He was proud of his Italian heritage but also very curious in other cultures as well. He had a whole list of places he planned to visit. He was currently brushing up his Turkish for an upcoming trip to meet the in-laws in October.
Matt's brothers played a large role in his life as he was the middle child and each brother is only 2 years apart. They grew up having the same friend group and had the rare opportunity of holding the same best friends. This meant they got to be a big part of numerous monumental moments for friends and family together. His relationship with his brothers was incomparable and rare and he knew that. He was thankful for it every day.
Everywhere Matt went, whether he knew the people or not, he left an impact. His personality shined through and he left that lasting impression. We were so lucky to have him in the short time we did. It takes many a lifetime to accomplish what he was able to in 26 short years.
