

Mauricio proudly served his country in the United States Army as a Heavy Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic (MOS 63W20), providing critical maintenance and support during his military service, including service in the Gulf War. Following his military service, he continued supporting the Armed Forces as a civilian contractor supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Dedicating many years of service, discipline, and hard work to his profession and country.
Mauricio earned his Associate Degree and was well known for his kindness, dedication, strong work ethic, and generous spirit. He enjoyed sports, traveling, good food, and chocolate, but above all else, he deeply loved and cherished his family.
Mauricio is survived by his beloved wife, Lidia T. Parchment; his children, Maoline, Emyl, Dwight, Grace and Neshaundra; twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two nephews; and two nieces, two Daughters-in-law and two Sons-in-law.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, Roberto Parchment and Melva Parchment.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Family Funeral Care in Orlando, Florida.
A public visitation will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Family Funeral Care from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in St. Cloud, Florida, at 11:00 a.m. A Committal Service will follow the same day at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
Mauricio will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his honorable service to his country, and the lasting impact he made on everyone who knew him.
