Melvin worked as a HVAC Technician at Wyndham Grand Club, Marriott, Double Tree, and Osceola Regional Medical Center through his successful career. He will be remembered as a strong willed, generous, loving, caring, determined man who took pride in his work and family.
He served his county in the United States Navy. He also loved electronics, gadgets, and top quality tools and was proud of his Greek Heritage!
He is preceded in death by his son, Alexander Tony ; mother, Parthenope Gerogiades Farris, and sister, Teresa Farris.
Survivors include his loving wife of 13 years, Chona Farris; son, Antonio Lee Farris; sister Kathy Hicks, and his best friend of 35 years, Scott McDowell.
The family will receive friends from 5-7:30 pm on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Family Funeral Care, 13001 South John Young Parkway, Orlando, FL. A celebration of life service will be held at 7:30 pm.
