Michael "Kage" Mauch

April 4, 1981 – July 20, 2026
Obituary of Michael "Kage" Mauch
IN THE CARE OF

Baldwin-Fairchild Conway Funeral Home

Michael "Kage" Mauch, 45, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on July 20, 2026. He was born on April 4, 1981, in Panama to the late Barry Keith Mauch and late Cathy (née Kouba) Mauch.

As the son of a military family, Kage spent his childhood moving from place to place, an experience that helped shape his adventurous spirit and ability to make friends wherever life took him. He later proudly served his country as an Infantryman in the United States Army for three years.

Kage had a passion for life and lived it on his own terms. He found freedom on the open road riding motorcycles, joy in preparing meals for those he loved, and fulfillment in studying martial arts.

Kage is survived by his devoted partner, Jose Almonte; his sisters, Crystal Dawn Johannsen and Samantha Mauch; his nieces and nephews, Sloan Coss and Hailey Boatright; his great-niece, Emery Lynn Boatright; his beloved dog, Valkyrie Gwendolyn; and the many dear friends and fellow riders who became his extended family through the motorcycle community.

Kage was preceded in death by his father, Barry Keith Mauch and his mom; Cathy (née Kouba) Mauch.

Though his journey ended too soon, Kage's memory will live on in every mile traveled, every meal shared, every lesson taught, and every life he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who had the privilege of calling him family, friend, brother, partner, and fellow rider.

Please remember that many veterans carry burdens we cannot see. Check in on those you care about, listen without judgment, and remind them they are not alone. Freedom is not Free.
