To the Newberg Family: My words cannot express the great sadness and sense of loss that I am experiencing with the loss of Neil. I was a patient of his father and also knew his son. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Family, I am just seeing this obituary and although time has passed, I wish to express to you my deepest sympathy in the loss of this precious man. I saw firsthand his dedication in delivering compassionate care to his patients as well as his recognized and respected expertise in his medical practice by his colleagues. He knew the names of the staff that served his patients and always had time to say hello or ask about their day.  We were all blessed to have had the opportunity to have known such a fine physician. May God comfort you during this difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear of Neil Newberg's passing. He was a truly wonderful, gentle, and patient man. While I did not live in the area much of the time Neil had his practice, he was wonderful to my grandmother (Ida Eisen) and my parents (Marion and Ira Daitzman). Although I first met Neil when  I was home for a visit and went to the office with my mother and grandmother, I had heard about him for years. When I returned to Orlando and started going to his son as my internist, I would see Neil at the office as Todd was getting started in his practice and he always took a few minutes to chat with me about my parents and how his own mother (a good friend of my parents) were doing. May his memory be a blessing.

We were so saddened to hear of Dr. Newberg’s passing. He was my doctor during a very rough time with cancer. He got me through it and I always said he saved my life. I am so blessed to have his son take care of us now. What a wonderful legacy. Love and deepest condolences to the family.

My family and I are truly saddened to hear that Dr Neil Newberg has passed away. We learned of his passing today while attending church services. Neil was a wonderful man and a great doctor who provided care for me when I first arrived in Orlando 35 years ago. He continued to be my doctor until he retired and his son Todd took over his practice. Over the years his personality and demeanor resulted in a friendship that I will always remember. My prayers go to his family for their loss. Neil will truly be missed by everyone who was blessed to know him. 

     It is with great sadness that we write this note on the passing of Neil. We were fortunate to have known Neil for 16 years- coming into our lives with the marriage of Dan and Laura. We always enjoyed seeing Neil and Francine on their visits to Atlanta. Since we share grandchildren, Kylie and Emerson, we had a lot in common. Neil was a true gentleman and will be sorely  missed.

We will  greatly miss our dear friend and doctor.  He was a true professional and dependable friend, always there for us no matter where in the world we were.  Neil helped us through medical emergencies in Africa, Italy and Telluride.  I’ll never forget how gracious he was for taking care of my Porsche all summer long while I was away. What a good friend he was, indeed!

Neil will always have a special place in our hearts and bring a smile to our faces whenever we think of him. May he rest in eternal peace knowing that his impact on our lives will forever be treasured and celebrated.

Neil was a true Mensch. My uncle used to use the expression Solid Citizen for people like Neil, It was considered the highest praise. 
Neil was a man of integrity, honesty, intelligence, and most of all kindness and compassion. He completely walked his talk, It just felt good to be around him, Everyone loved him.

A presence like Neil will be sorely and sadly missed by so many. His memory will remain as an example of a truly good man. 

I hope for his family that the empty darkness makes way for bright and warm memories of a life so well lived.
