

De Leon, Norma Jean, 88, passed away peacefully on October 30th, 2017 in Orlando, Fl. Norma was born to Eula Gaines and McKinley Davis on September 10th, 1929 in Dayton, Ohio. She was a proud military wife of 32 years, homemaker and worked in sales for Jordon Marsh department store. Her hobbies included cooking, sewing, oil painting, gardening, playing the organ and dulcimer guitar. She was a member of the St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Orlando. Norma is survived by her three loving children; Daniel De Leon and wife Melinda, daughter Gloria and husband James Shorette, and daughter Linda McVey. She is survived by 5 grandchildren; Phillip Shorette and wife Victoria, David Shorette and wife Maria, Derek and Jon De Leon, and Angela Stone. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren; Celeste and Zachary Winkler, Andrew Adamski, Sophia and Glorilynn Shorette, her sister Sue Bowling and niece Cheryl Bowling. Norma was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Pedro D. De Leon Jr., brothers Robert, McKinley Jr., Beauford Davis and her grandson, Peder De Leon. Memorial Services will be held on, November 2nd from 10:30 to 11:30 am, at Family Funeral Care, 13001 S. John Young Pkwy., Orlando, FL.
