He was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad on February 10, 1938, and was married to Judith Wharton on April 10, 1969.
Norman is predeceased by his parents Louis and Edith Wharton, and by his sisters Sylvia Lezama and Marjorie Mark.
He is survived by his wife Judith and their children Darin and Kathy Wharton; his grandson Michael Wharton, his sister Phyllis Alfonso, and by a host of nieces and nephews.
